Staff was very enthusiastic. Location is excellent - close to Hoan Kiem Lake, water puppet theater, clothes and shoe shopping, and a couple good restaurants. Room was very nice (suite). Staff brought breakfast to our room upon request. The hotel arranged nice tours of Vietnam for us - Sapa and Ha Long Bay tours were very well organized.
Booked room with a lake view, but no rooms seem to have a lake view. The hotel staff did adjust our bill to reflect the rate for a city view.

The breakfast options were excellent, with an ample selection of delicious dishes that fueled my adventures. Coffee and tea available for free all day was a nice perk, keeping the energy flowing during the long days exploring.
The absence of windows in some rooms might be a dealbreaker for those who value natural light-some balconies feel a bit like a cage with limited seating. The bathroom ventilation could use some improvement, as I noticed a persistent odor in one of the suites.

This Hotel offers such a great service. Everything was well organised. They organised our trip to Sapa as well as our stay on a boat in Halong Bay, arranged pick ups for us, and flights, and everything was perfect. The hotel itself is a new fashioned, but the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious, but the biggest selling point is the staff who are very helpful. We had the best stay in North Vietnam, thanks to Hanoi Royal View Hotel .

We stayed here for 3 nights and was quite pleased with clean room, friendly staff and good daily breakfast. We were in a Deluxe Room for $60.00 per night and everyday we had maid service changing fresh bedsheets, fresh bathroom towels and organizing everything. No need to worry about room theft here, the workers are quite young and very friendly. However; the most difficult thing is the language barrier, fortunately all of the female receptionist knew how to speak English otherwise we be lost here. The daily breakfast consists of 5 hots and 5 cold items. Usually items served were french toast, scrambled eggs, fruits, pasta, white bread, juice, coffee and tea. Overall, is a good breakfast and eat as much as you want. Would I stay again, definitely yes. Would I go back to visit Vietnam, Hanoi...
